About
M.O., L.I.F.E.
Murphy and Others Living Interdependently for Future Endeavors, was established in 1994 and officially incorporated on June 15, 1995 as a private, non-profit, 501 C 3 organization. We are a deliberately small, inclusive, non-site based organization. We are dedicated to the individuals with developmental disabilities we support and committed to enhancing their lives in the areas of career development, housing and community inclusion.
M.O., L.I.F.E. will never turn an individual away for financial reasons. We depend on support from our state contracts, friends in the Greater New Bedford area, our Annual Ball and Annual Appeal. We are proud of our accomplishments and want to share them with you.
History of M.O., L.I.F.E.
M.O., L.I.F.E. was created by Charles Murphy, Sr. in 1995 with the goal of allowing individuals with disabilities and their families to be treated with respect and be allowed the choice to decide their own future endeavors. Because his father, Paul Murphy, had a disability, Charles knows the importance of inclusion and has the respect to listen to all ideas.
